Baltimore Sun
Haven't got much time to post as I'm running out the door, but here's EAB's first attributed quote, in this article in the Baltimore Sun. I wonder how this will be received Stateside, though I've already had a couple of good complimentary emails from it.
Congratulations on your site. I admire your poster, "Love My Country, Shamed by My President," and would love to use it during marches in D.C., with "Expats" changed to "Americans." If you'd put a .pdf of that on your site, I'd be thrilled, and would carry the sign proudly in our streets and share it with friends. Good luck on your brave efforts. With much respect, Stephanie Sommer

I don't know how this will be received either. I emailed a bunch of people back home to get them to pay attention to this. I got some very enthusiastic responses (from folks who were against this whole thing to begin with.) But from my pro-Bush friends, I either got a luke-warm acknowledgment that they got the email or they ignored it altogether.
Luke, have you considered contacting some of the press back home and stating your position in some editorials around the country? Perhaps we can explain ourselves in some of the newspapers across the nation. Certainly NPR will cover this event and would likely be interested. I know a website that lists practically every mainstream media organization in the country, complete with email links to the editors. If we do this to coincide with the protest (or soon after it) we can draw more attention and show them that we are ordinary Americans, not the anarchistic activists that Karl Rove will paint us as.
