a letter in today's Guardian that says so much
Thank you
Tuesday November 25, 2003
The Guardian
I want to thank all the good people of the UK who turned out to demonstrate at the visit of President Bush (Letters, November 22). We in this country who wish to protest at a site where the president is speaking will find ourselves shunted to a holding pen approximately half a mile away, courtesy of the secret service for "security" purposes, where our presence will never be noticed and we will not be heard. Unfortunately, the only "security" at issue is this president's political future and not his physical wellbeing.
It's heartening to know that we are joined by so many people from your country who are in opposition to this administration's policies in Iraq and elsewhere in the world.

YES! That even one person feels this way (and I know that thousands other do) is enough.
